Greater Selection of PNW Herbs

Choices...we all have choices. Shall we choose the herbs that are cultivated without chemicals that are grown the next county over, or the certified organic herbs that come from the other side of the country? Shall we stock the cheaper organic botanicals from a foreign country, or the more expensive, wildharvested option from the bioregion we live in? We've never had so many choices in the alternative medicine field, and this is particularly why we need to be more careful than ever how we "vote" with our dollars to support herbal medicine. As for us folks here at LEH, we're constantly seeking the highest quality herbs we can find, as local as we can get them. But we're still grateful for the bigger market out there to fill in the gaps and to provide the best overall selection.

Happy Fall!
|
Well, summer came and went, and whether we like to admit it or not fall is in the air. There is a brisk chill to the morning, the leaves are starting to turn and the kids are back in school. Along those lines, it is also an excellent time to 'clear out the junk' in the body before settling down to a cozy, less active time during the winter. Living Earth Herbs reopened its retail location on January 16th, 2007!
After a prolonged closure to help facilitate our relocation to Bellingham, Washington we are happy to announce we are online and also open for walk in business! Thanks to all our devoted, wonderful customers who have waited patiently for our doors to reopen during this transition.

Relocation!

Living Earth Herbs is relocating to Bellingham, Washington!
We will be closing our retail location in Eugene, Oregon to prepare for this transition. Our last day of normal retail operation is Saturday, August 26th from 12pm - 5pm.
You may continue to order online at www.LivingEarthHerbs.com until Tuesday, August 29th. Any local wholesale or online orders placed may be picked up no later than Friday, September 1st, at 6pm.
While we make this transition, we will not be accepting orders from Tuesday, August 29th, until September 21st, 2006. We will resume taking orders September 22nd, 2006 from our new location in Bellingham, Washington.

NW Herb Fest 2006 at Wise Acres Farm, July 22nd and 23rd. A Magical Medicine Show!
Be a part of the herbal community. Enjoy a full weekend of classes designed to empower you with knowledge of herbal healing. Your life and your friend's lives will be enhanced by your newly gained wisdom and skills gleaned from ten renowned herbalists and physicians. The grand event will include herbal classes, herb walks and a variety of seasoned herbal teachers. Wise Acres Farm has more than 200 different species of herbs to meet and experience in person. Classes will be a mix of lecture and demonstration depending on the specific class you choose to go to. Saturday evening will be filled with music, singing and dancing, as well as a herbal barter fair. There will be something for everyone at this event.
