Description
Certified Organic Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) leaf, cut and sifted. This plant has properties that may help stimulate epithelial or skin cell tissue growth. Folklore says this is an herb that may promote bone knitting, or healing of broken bones as a poultice and when taken internally. Only short term use is recommended if taken internally. There is some debate in the industry that says if you take this herb for prolonged periods it may cause liver damage. For this reason we recommend persons with known liver conditions refrain from using this herb internally. We also offer Comfrey leaf infused oil and Comfrey salve.
